1) I would like to view the atlas pages, but don't know many animal names. How do I go about viewing the atlas pages?
If you don't know any animals names, but wish to view our atlas pages, then use our drop down menu, where you can access pages for groups of species.
Another way to view atlas pages is to visit our Photo Gallery. Each photo has a link to the atlas page for that species, where available.
2) Why do some species not have a common name listed?
Common names are not always available for animals. Our more familiar species (such as mammals, birds, fish butterflies) do have common names, but many unfamiliar species (such as ribbon worms, mosquitoes) do not. This is particularly true with invertebrates, including many insects.
3) I would like to identify something I saw today. How do I do that?
Browse through E-Fauna to learn more about the animal species found in the province. In particular, visit our photo gallery to see if the animal you saw is there.
4) How do I know which atlas pages are available?
Visit our atlas page development page to learn which wildlife groups have atlas pages and which pages are now in preparation.
