In order to pass the course you need to write all exams. Marks
for the course will be allocated as follows:
- Lab Exams 30%
- Mid-term Exam 20%
- Final Exam 50%
Mid-term Exam:
Date: Friday October 19th
Location: Geography Room 200 (regular lecture room)
Material: Course material what was covered prior to
mid-term exam date.

Allowed Material: You are allowed to bring a NON-programmable
calculator. NO notes allowed.
Necessary equations will be provided.
Lab Exam 1:
Date: Tues Oct. 16 and Thu Oct. 18. You need to
write the lab exam in your regular lab section.
Location: Geography Room 214 (regular lab room)
Material: Labs #1 - #5.
Example Exams: Since the lab exams are heavily
built on the exercises used in the lab, we do not provide extra example
exams.
Allowed Material: A NON-programmable calculator.
NO notes allowed. Necessary equations will be provided.
Lab Exam 2:
Date: Tues Nov20 and Nov 22. You need to write the
lab exam in your regular lab section.
Location: Geography Room 214 (regular lab room)
Material: Labs #6 - #8.
Example Exams: Since the lab exams are heavily
built on the exercises used in the lab, we do not provide extra example
exams.
Allowed Material: A NON-programmable calculator.
NO notes allowed. Necessary equations will be provided.
Final Exam:
Date: Yet to be determined
Location: Geography Building, Room 100
Material: Material will be concentrated on the
final half of the course but reference may be made to earlier material.
