Abstract

Since Southwestern British Columbia is a major subduction earthquake prone area, we decided to analyze the degree of earthquake hazards within Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD). By doing several types of analyses we created a final map which shows the areas within the GVRD which have the highest degree of danger during a major earthquake.
