Traffic safety problems have been a serious concern since the start of the automobile age. There are a wide variety of possible causes for car collisions, including driver behavior, vehicle defect, weather condition, and road condition. Traffic collision analysis helps to discover the causes of collisions and prevent collisions from occurring.

This project aims to produce a collision analysis for Vancouver in British Columbia. Through this analysis, some black spots in Vancouver were identified. This study revealed that collisions have more opportunities occur on Friday than other days and there were more collisons occurring at afternoon peak hours than other hours of the day. This study also revealed the relationship between collisions and population density, increased collisions were associated  with increases in population dencity.
