There
are many ways to do the analysis. In my case, in the analysis of
density, the uncertainty is the rule I built for the weighted value.
There could be another more suitable rule for this field. So there is a big difference in the field. The
uncertainty could
happen in creating Thiessen Plygons, every time we make the operation,
the
results can become different. Hence, sensitivity analysis
becomes important in the situation.
When
siting, to do the Multi-Criteria Analysis, we have several tools to
decide the
best suitable area. For instance, we could use raster calculator tool
and based
on Boolean Operation etc. As different tool comes out different
results, making a comparison between them dose make sense to make the
result more confident.
Another
disadvantage of my analysis is the shortest path. There
are several important factors I should take into account such as the
nature
reserve and other species distribution. Besacuse of the limitation of
my data, I juse gave a view to slope and land type. It can be
unpractical.
Last, I put all the analysis together to see the result.

The road basicallly keep off the high density area but the location of the forest range is undesirable.
It gets a long way to go to make a reasonable and environmentally-friendly management.
As GIS
is
developing, we can also combine remote sensing to make update of the data and
monitor the changes of the nature. Based on great theories and with practice, we can use this technology to make an advanced analysis.
