Data Acquisition:

The primary data used in this project was obtained from two data clearinghouses:

1. Alaska Geospatial Data Clearinghouse 
2. Alaska State Geo-Spatial Data Clearinghouse

Projeciton:

NAD_1927_Albers

All data sets or layers used in this analysis were projected using NAD_1927_Albers or reprojected to NAD_1927_Albers to ensure spatial consistency.

Technical operations:

The ArcGIS10.0 software (Spatial Analyst functions, Data Management tools, and Analysis tools) were used for the map output and data analysis. ArcCatalog was also used to manage all data within the project. Microsoft Excel was incorporated  for categorization.
