GEOB 472 Advanced Cartography & Data Visualization

Course Schedule, January 2013
this schedule may change during the term

Each three hour block will consist of a student led discussion for the first hour based upon material from the week before and then a two hour lecture (except for week 1, see below)

Discussion Schedule
Tips for leading discussion

Readings: either accessible 1) on-line through UBC Library UBCLIB or UBC e-link (if you are connecting from home or some place other than UBC you need to go to 'connect from home' on the UBC Library home page and follow simple instructions) or 2) accessible through readings in books in the Geography Information Centre GIC.
Readings are required for weekly lectures, and for the following week's discussion when short writing assignments are to be handed in based upon lecture. These writing assignment replace a final exam in this course.
