Overview
The objectives of Geog Biogeoscience 307 are:
  • To broaden and deepen students' understanding of biogeographical and ecological concepts
  • To show the application of biogeography in (a) understanding responses in ecosystems to environmental change at global, regional and local scales; and (b) conservation issues such as endangered species, habitat loss and the loss of biodiversity
  • To allow students to be able to critically assess the changes in ecosystems in response to global change and to develop skills useful in upper level courses in biogeography and ecology
