Registration instructions:

  • Complete registration form (indicating total amount and payment method) and mail to UBC Geography
  • Registration will be confirmed by e-mail; receipts will be issued at time of in-person check-in

Registration fee for each participant includes:

  • conference attendance on June 28th - 29th
  • dinner banquet on June 28th

Registration fee structure (on or before May 1, 2004):

  • CDN$160.00 
  • CDN$80.00 for student participant (must be currently registered in an undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program)

Late Registration fee structure (after May 1, 2004):

  • CDN$200.00 
  • CDN$100.00 for student participant (must be currently registered in an undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program)

Registration policy:

  • payment must be made in CDN$ by credit card (Mastercard or VISA), personal cheque* (*must be drawn from an account at a Canadian financial institution), certified cheque, money order, or bank draft 
  • late registration fees will apply after May 1, 2004
  • a cancellation fee of CDN$15.00 will be applied against any refunds on or before June 1, 2004; thereafter, the cancellation fee will increase to include the catering cost for the participant, and for any of her/his guests, for the dinner banquet
  • the Department of Geography reserves the right to cancel any field trips due to insufficient interest
