The Department of Geography offers a range of geographical support services that are available to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, as well as the general public.

Geographic Information Centre (GIC)

The Geographic Information Centre (GIC) contains various geographical holdings that form a teaching, reference, and research centre in the Department of Geography. Holdings include maps specializing in BC and Canada, atlases, books, video recordings, course reserves on geographical topics, and our renowned University Aerial Photo Collection.

Cartographic Services

The Cartographic Resources Unit serves the university community and general public map production support for books, journal articles, posters, and dynamic cartography, using mapping and graphic design software.
