Overview of Lulu Island, Richmond, BC, looking east. The south and middle arms of the Fraser River surround the island. The former extent of the peatlands on the island are clearly visible: the Lesser Lulu Island Bog peatlands are located in the top left portion of the image, with the Greater Lulu Island Bog peatlands visible in the central portion of the image. Burns Bog in Delta is visible in the top right. Most of the peatlands in Richmond are now either agricultural fields, or sit beneath subdivision developments.
