Based on the locality information provided by Nagorsen  (1993), the following species of bats have been reported in the Lower Mainland:

California Myotis (Myotis californicus)
Western Long-eared Myotis (Myotis evotis)
Little Brown Myotis  (Myotis lucifugus)
Yuma Myotis (Myotis yumanensis)
Hoary Bat  (Lasiurus cinereus)
Silver-haired Bat  (Lasionycteris noctivagans) *
Big Brown Bat (Eptesicus fuscus )
Townsend's Big-eared Bat (Plecotus townsendii.)

* recorded in the Richmond Nature Park
