BUBBLE_NR_IOP.txt Net all-wave radiation 10-min measurements of net all-wave radiation above urban, suburban and rural surfaces. BSPR, ALLS, BLER, and VLNF feature CNR-1 4-component net radiometers, BSPA and GRNZ is calculated from Eppley PIR and Kipp & Zonen CM11 instruments. BSPR, ALLS, BLER, and VLNF feature data from a CM3 (part of CNR-1 4-component net radiometers), BSPA and GRNZ are equipped with Kipp & Zonen CM11 instruments. BUBBLE_FH_IOP.txt Sensible heat flux density 30-min block averages above urban, suburban and rural surfaces. For details of the instrumentation and calculation of fluxes, please refer to the section on turbulent flux densities in the 'sonic data processing' documentation.

BUBBLE_FL_IOP.txt Latent heat flux density 30-min block averages above urban, suburban and rural surfaces. For details of the instrumentation and calculation of fluxes, please refer to the section on turbulent flux densities in the 'sonic data processing' documentation.

BUBBLE_FS_IOP.txt Soil heat flux density 30-min block averages measured at the rural surfaces using heat flux plates. Corrected for heat storage in the layer abobe the heat flux plate. The storage heat flux density at urban and suburban sites must be calculated as the residual term and is not included in those data-files.

BUBBLE_AT_IOP.txt Air temperature 10-min measurements at screen level (within street canyons), and above roof at all seven energy balance sites. BSPR, BSPA, ALLS, BLER and VLNF are actively ventillated sensors or dew-point mirrors, BMES and GRNZ feature naturally ventillated screens only.

BUBBLE_ST_IOP.txt Soil temperature profiles 10-min averages of soil temperatures measured at various depths at the rural sites.

BUBBLE_RH_IOP.txt Relative humidity 10-min measurements at screen level (within street canyons), and above roof at all seven energy balance sites. BSPR, BSPA, ALLS, BLER and VLNF are actively ventillated psychrometers or dew-point mirrors, BMES and GRNZ feature naturally ventillated screens only.

BUBBLE_WV_IOP.txt Wind velocity (scalar mean) 10-min measurements from tower top. BSPR, BSPA, BMES, ALLS, VLNF, and GRNZ feature data from ultrasonic anemometer systems, data from BLER is a propeller anemometer.

BUBBLE_FV_IOP.txt Friction Velocity 30-min block averages of u* in the inertial sublayer (or upper roughness sublayer) at the sites BSPR, BSPA, VLNF, and GRNZ.

BUBBLE_WD_IOP.txt Wind direction 10-min measurements from tower top in degrees relative to Geographic North. BSPR, BSPA, BMES, ALLS, VLNF, and GRNZ feature data from ultrasonic anemometer systems, data from BLER is a propeller vane.

BUBBLE_PS_IOP.txt Barometric pressure Hourly measurements at BBIN at 316.0m a.s.l.

BUBBLE_PC_IOP.txt Precipitation Hourly sums of precipitation at BLER and BBIN measured using tipping buckets.
