Researchers (2006-08)
Students
(2006-08)
Brett Eaton, PhD, PGeo
Geography,
The University of BC

Brett supervises (and occasionally participates in) the work on stream channel morphology and sediment transport at Fishtrap Creek.
Tim Giles, MSc, PGeo
Ministry of Forests & Range

Tim helped initiate this (hopefully) long term study immediately after the McLure Fire. He has collected most of the baseline data and is instrumental to the ongoing work.
Jeff Phillips
MSc Student (2005 - 2007)
The University of BC

In 2006, Jeff  planned, organized, and executed the  first season of field work at Fishtrap Creek. The results will form the basis for his  thesis.
Dan Moore, PhD, PGeo
Geography & Forest Sciences, The University of BC

Dan is leading the work on the hydrological response of Fishtrap Creek. This includes studies of the suspended sediment concentration, stream temperatures and changes in peak flow timing.
Kyle Terry
BSc Student (2006)
The University of BC

Kyle was our research assistant for 2006, and his enthusiasm for field work  and his practical ideas were a great resource.
Christie Andrews
MSc Student (2007 - present)
The University of BC

Christie is just starting her MSc thesis, and will be documenting the ongoing and rapid channel changes occurring in Fishtrap Creek.
Jason Leach
MSc Student (2006 - present)
The University of BC

Jason has initiated a study of the  distribution of groundwater contributions to streamflow, and of its effect on stream temperature in the study reach.
Mike van der Laan
BSc Student (2007)
The University of BC

Mike is our research assistant for 2007. His hard work, and  talents for design are a  great asset to our research team.
