RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

  • Expand the understanding of fire as an ecological process that drives vegetation dynamics, affects wildlife habitats, and                  impacts the conservation of biodiversity.
  • Unravel the historic effects of fire exclusion, climatic variability, and topography on fire-vegetation dynamics in mountain               ecosystems.
