Please join us on February 11 12:30 – 1:45 pm in GEOG room 229 for a colloquium with Sara Nelson.
Sara is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Geography at UBC. Her work explores the politics of value in environmental conservation. She is interested in how negotiations over the measurement and valuation of environmental resources become generative sites for the creation of new forms of knowledge and strategies of government. Sara utilizes a multi-sited methodology combining historical research and ethnographic methods.
