Colloquium with Wes Attewell, Martin Danyluk, Hun Kim, and Sara Nelson

Please join us on March 20 12:30 – 1:45 pm in GEOG room 229 for a colloquium with Wes Attewell, Martin Danyluk, Hun Kim, and Sara Nelson.

Wes Attewell is a Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Toronto.  His research interests include critical logistics and infrastructure, development and humanitarianism, modern war and conflict, counterinsurgency and pacification, postcolonial and poststructural theory.

Martin Danyluk is a Postdoctoral Fellow, UBC Geography.  His current research focuses on the fast-growing logistics industry, investigating the webs of violence and conflict that surround the movement of goods through global supply chains.

Hun Kim is Assistant Professor, UBC Geography.  His research lies at the intersection of urban planning, transnational finance and expertise, and globalized forms of governance in an ascendant and resurgent Asia.

Sara Nelson is a Postdoctoral Fellow, UBC Geography.  Her current research explores the theme of current ‘ecosystem services’ through a study of watershed conservation programs within the Latin American Water Funds Partnership.
