Undergraduate Computer Labs

The Department of Geography has 2 computer labs that students can access to complete assignments in Geography courses requiring specialized software, such as GIS, Cartography, Remote Sensing, and Statistics. Please visit the links below for more detailed information.

There are also general public access terminals in the Geographic Information Centre (GIC), in room 112.

Lab Hours

The undergraduate computer labs operate from 8:30am to 10pm, Monday through Friday for most of the academic year. Labs don’t open on weekends.

External computer resources

If you are looking for access to ArcGIS Software on weekends or statistical packages like SPSS, you can visit the computer labs in Koerner library, in room 217.

If you are looking for Adobe Suite products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Chapman Learning Commons in the Barber Learning Centre has Mac Multimedia workstations with the software suite installed.
